Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX150 Digital Camera Overview
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX150 Digital Camera captures images with an astonishing 14.7-megapixel resolution that makes it easy to take clear, sharp photos or you can crop unwanted parts of an image and enlarge the rest, thereby creating a beautifully composed photo that retains outstanding detail. The 28mm wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Elmarit Lens of the camera lets users capture images of expansive scenery, and when shooting in tight or crowded indoor spaces, the wide-angle lens fits more people in the photo. In addition, The high-performance, next-generation image processing system of the FX150 -The Venus Engine IV - not only helps the camera render exquisitely beautiful images, and capture imahes with amazing speed, but also makes the camera more energy-efficient, allowing 330 pictures (CIPA) per battery charge.
The DMC-FX150 provides easy access to manual control, letting users adjust the shutter speed as desired, giving the user freedom to render artistic images of ordinary scenes. There is also a multi-exposure function that superimposes up to three consecutively shot images together, creating a surrealistic effect that cannot be achieved with a single image alone. The camera also includes bracketing functions with exposure bracketing, and a color bracketing function that can record color, monochromatic and sepia shots of an image at the same time with a single press of the shutter button. In addition the the AF control allows user to set focus freely among 11 focus points, and the white balance function provides two-axis compensation with a color temperature setting that allows more precise adjustment.
In addition to manual controls, the FX150 also offers Panasonics Intelligent Auto (iA) mode that provides the user with automatic settings adjustments depending on the shooting environment. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX150 Digital Camera user reviews
"I got Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX150 Digital Camera for its small size and for the fact that it can shoot RAW. My only wish is that I could change the color mode on it (from sRGB to Adobe RGB)"

""I bought Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX150 Digital Camera as a travel companion to my Canon DSLR and lenses, to use
when I don't want to lug the gear. The photos are sharp, right on with
color, and the HD QT mov's are surprisingly crisp. I find the menus
intuitive and easy to use. I find little noise in the dark areas when
fiddling in Aperture. Unfortunately, Aperture doesn't support these RAW
files yet, but I'll cross my fingers that Apple will correct this.
There's no zooming when shooting video, but since that's not this unit's
primary function I won't sweat that. Lots of nice features, and I can
highly recommend it after three days of play." "

"Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX150 Digital Camera is a pocket camera with hidden depths: the more we used it, the more features we found lurking beneath its boxy exterior.
Not only does it provide 15-megapixel images - the highest resolution currently offered by a compact camera - the FX150 can also shoot maximum-quality Raw images alongside regular JPEG files. That’s a feature usually found in cameras costing twice the price.
Also useful is the E.Zoom button that, with a single press, causes the lens to jump from its maximum wide angle to maximum telephoto, equivalent to 28-100mm on a 35mm camera. A second press of the same button carries out a ‘digital zoom’, a crop of the image so that it appears the camera has zoomed in further (although this results in a loss of quality)."
