    ""I am 14 years old and I bought Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01 Digital camera about a month ago and I am happy to say that it is pretty good. I understood all of the different settings pretty quickly even though it is my first camera. It takes great pictures when you take your time and line unp the shot and everything but, taking action pictures, and pictures in dimly lit spots (my cousins baptism) turn out actually pretty bad. Yes, sure the camera ahd the flash and the AF assist lamp on but it still did not make the perfect lighting. On the bright side the lense, screen and features are practical and work well. This camera takes great pictures outside and when it is very sunny. I would buy this camera if I was loking for a practical one to use from day to day" "

    "Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01 Digital camera is mostly a fantastic purchase. However, it suffers from noise at high ISO levels, so if you disable the flash go ISO 200 and keep the camera steady. The pictures are bright and colourful. The user interface is fast, easy to navigate and... has sensible shortcuts for commonly used features. It also has a great collection of presets that let you pull of more interesting pictures without the need to buy an SLR. 30fps is good quality, with surprisingly good audio too. Minor niggles include the fact the viewfinder screen protrudes from the camera, so when you rest it on a surface, you are resting it on the screen. Most cameras have a bevel around the screen. The anti-shake technology also ruins pictures and is on by default. Turn it off immediately! It is also very easy to turn on by accident when it's in your pocket. Suddenly you can have a massive bulge in your pocket next to your crotch. Most embarrassing! Overall absolutely recommended, one of the best purchases I've made ever."

    "I just bought Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01 Digital camera for my mother and was very pleased with the overall picture quality. She needed a easy to use digital camera and I found the auto setting was able to work very well in almost every situation I threw at it. A couple of negatives I found were: 1. The zoom motor has some slop in it, although I doubt she will even notice it. 2. Images taken in a dimmly lite room (with flash and auto exposure) tended to have a noticable amount of noise. The camera seems to want to use a higher ISO setting instead of more flash. All in all a pretty decent point and shoot camera with easy controls for the non technical folks that just want to take pictures. O, and a great deal at just over $200. "

    "I am a professional potographer and I write books on photography. I got Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01 Digital camera for my wife who is a total non-photographer. When we were on vacation she started shooting photos and when we got home I made her a bunch of 11x17 inch (A3 size) prints.

Without little or no manipulation in Photoshop I was able to print amazingly sharp, richly colored images. In some cases the images looked better then the images I had shot with my higher megapixel dSLR."
